Golfing in Japan can be a wonderful experience. Sometimes though, golf etiquette differences can be a little intimidating and the language barrier can be a challenge. Your answer might be here. Eastwood Country Club is a traditional Japanese golf course, with superbly manicured greens and full lunch between nines, but it is also a Senior PGA tour course as well as having the designation of being designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr.
Allow us to assist with your reservation for a day out on the links (about 1.5 hours from Tokyo). Eastwood Country Club is in Tochigi Prefecture, just outside of Tokyo. If you drive from Shinjuku it would be one hour on the expressway and five minutes from the IC. A lot of us take the Shinkansen from Tokyo to Utsunomiya station (one hour) and then hop on the free morning shuttle to the club. That’s it.
You can submit your scorecard to be entered in to the Jarman International Virtual Charity Cup (100,000 yen cash prize and trophy).
We just finished a lovely golf outing for Jarman International Cup on December 18th.
Your participation will help us continue our support of Mirai no Mori (helping marginalized youth in Japan) too!
The upcoming JI Cup events in 2021 are Jan 15th, Feb 19 and March 26!
If you would like to come join or make a reservation for play at the course, please contact us via contact form or write to us at info@jarman-international.com. Playing in Japan for those used to playing in the US or other places will definitely be an interesting experience and a special taste of unique Japanese golf culture! 🙂
